A selection of BBC Young Musician of the Year Category Finalists, who are also students at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, give a mixed recital. These outstanding young musicians are among the country’s finest and this is a concert not to be missed.

A concert Jess has organised and, as a BBC Young Musician Woodwind Finalist and recipient of the Walter Todd Bursary, will be performing in.

Saxophone legend Snake Davis returns to Ulverston for a concert organised by Jess for the fifth time, with his 8 piece soul band! After taking Ulverston by storm at a sell out gig last year, Snake and the band perform Motown, Atlanta and Northern Soul classics. Snake Davis is the most prolific session saxophonist of the past 25 years, having performed and recorded with artists such as Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Kylie, Ray Charles, Take That, Paul McCartney, M-People, Ruby Turner and Lis Stansfield to name but a few. A night guaranteed to get you up onto the dance floor, be sure to book early!

Snake and the band will be joined on stage by Jess for another guest appearance. Snake described Jess as “one of the best young saxophonists in the UK”.
