SOUL NIGHT with Snake Davis and the Suspicions and special guest Jess Gillam

A night of Motown, Northern Soul and Atlanta Classics

After taking Ulverston by storm, saxophone legend Snake Davis returns once again with his 8 piece soul band! As the most prolific session saxophonist of the past 25 years, Snake has performed and recorded with artists such as Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Eurhythmics, Ray Charles and M-People to name but a few.
Often heralded as the best soul band performing in the UK, the Suspicions includes some of the UK’s finest musicians; current and former members of M- People, Simply Red and Swing Out Sister.

Snake and the band will be joined by Jess Gillam. In 2016, Jess was first ever saxophonist to reach the Final of BBC Young Musician of the Year aged 17.
